Vincent Wong

Vincent Wong is a Staff Lawyer at the Metro Toronto Chinese & Southeast Asian Legal Clinic, which provides legal services to low-income, non-English speaking Chinese & Southeast Asian communities. He is also a Steering Committee member of the Colour of Poverty Campaign and a Director of the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers. Vincent focuses his work social justice, racial equity, and poverty alleviation. He has testified before numerous international, federal, and provincial committees on issues such as the racialization of poverty and immigration and citizenship reform. He received his Juris Doctor and Bachelors of Commerce from the University of Toronto.


Avvy Go


Avvy Go is the Clinic Director of Metro Toronto Chinese & Southeast Asian Legal Clinic where she serves low income clients in the areas of immigration and poverty law.

In addition to conducting law reform and test case litigation, Avvy has also been involved in years of community advocacy. Avvy is a bencher of the Law Society of Upper Canada, a role she has been serving on and off, since 2001.

For her contributions to social justice, Avvy has received a number of awards including the Order of Ontario and the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers’ Lawyer of Distinction Award.

Amy Tang

Amy Tang is an associate in the Pension and Employee Benefits Group at Koskie Minsky LLP. She advises employees and pensioners on a variety of pension, benefits, and employment matters. Amy joined Koskie Minsky as a summer student in 2014 and returned to complete her articles in the Labour and Pensions Departments. She is a graduate of the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law, where she was a prominent member of the International Human Rights Program. In 2013, she interned with the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Right to Health in New Delhi, India. While in law school, Amy also participated in a competitive moot, receiving the first place respondent factum and first place team awards at the Walsh Family Law Moot.
